Noah is 8 months old!

About a week ago our cutie Noah turned 8 months old!!

You are still about 27 lbs! (over 100 %)
You are about 30 inches long!! (over 100 %)

You are looking so much older these days. Still, no one believes us when we tell them how old you are. Everyone thinks you are much, much older.

You wearing a size 5 diaper! And mostly all 18 month clothes now. Good thing we didn't go out and buy a ton of new clothes for you, that would have been a waste considering you were only in a few sizes for a couple of weeks! Thankfully, your brother took care of his clothes and you're wearing some things he was JUST wearing!! :)

You are eating more and more food these days. You tried a lot of new fruits this past month. You still love mashed potatoes, pieces of bread, a few small pieces of cheese and you tried a smoothie for the first time. You loved it and could probably have had an entire glass yourself!

Your Tia Mil came home for a few days from Boston and got to spend some time with all of us. Before she left, you made sure to give her one of your very special (and slobbery) kisses! :)

You're still a great sleeper. You take usually two long naps a day and one or two short 20 minute ones. Typically going to sleep for the night around 8:30 or 9 and waking up about 7 or 7:30am. Sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night and may or may not want to eat before being put back down.

Unlike your brother, you are happy to go to sleep whenever your tired. Jacob didnt (and still won't) go to sleep when he knows there are people over and we're having a good time. When you're ready for bed...you're out. The other day you fell asleep in the middle of your Uncle Greg's basketball game! :)

You are showing more of a personality! You said "ma-ma" for the first time a week before Christmas. YAY!!!! Since then, you've also added "ba-ba" to your vocabulary. You are constantly smiling and "talking". You especially love having conversations with your brother.

You got to celebrate your first Christmas and have Santa come visit you!

Your Nana (the family hair dresser for the boys!) gave you your first haircut after Christmas! Your hair was getting so long. You were not a fan of the haircut and your swirl isn't as prominent in the back of your head anymore, but, your hair looks so nice.

You are really interacting even more with Jacob these days. Anytime I'm driving you both around or if you're just playing on the floor at home, at some point, you start babbling and Jacob starts talking back to you. In no time, you're both cracking up laughing. It's the most hysterical and adorable thing ever!! It happened the other day when I wanted to take Noah's 8 month picture. You had to get in the picture, too. Next thing we knew...you both were cracking up!!

I especially love this first picture of you both smiling with your George's!

You love to reach for us now. When I take your carseat buckle off, you immediately lift your hands up for me to pick you up. So cute. Also, when I pick you up, you face plant yourself into my neck as if you're giving me a huge bear hug. I love it!!

You had your first bad cold over Christmas. Actually everyone in our house had it. It wasn't fun at all and I hated hearing you all congested. Thank goodness for your humidifier!

You love  to be outside, just like Jacob. I try to take you both in the backyard every day to swing. You could sit in your swing and watch Jacob play for hours!

You are extremely ticklish. Especially on your legs, tummy and underarms. It's so cute. These pictures were from one night at the bowling alley. Uncle Greg kept tickling you. :)

Your still not technically crawling, but, you're moving everywhere!! You roll around everywhere and scoot like crazy. You don't crawl, but, you definitely know how to get from point A to point B!

You are such a happy, happy  boy and are always in the best mood. Everyone that meets you comments about what a relaxed and easy-going baby you are. We are so thankful!

Lastly, here was your 7 month bear picture as a reference.

And now your 8 month one!

We love you so much, Noah Bear!!!! Hard to believe that in a few short months your brother will be THREE and you'll be ONE! Ah! Slooooooow down the clock! :)

Ahh, December was a blast. It is so fun watching you grow Bear. You are definitely getting your own personality now. I just can't stop laughing, when I hear you and your brother cracking each other up. It is definitely a site to see. You are really an easy going baby, you pretty much go with the flow. As your mom said, you love rolling and scooting all over the place. You recently started trying to pull yourself up on tables. You also love playing with your brother's toys. (Especially his Trains and Cars) He is working on sharing, but still prefers you don't play with certain ones. You and your brother get along so well together. By the way, your mom takes such good care of our family, she organizes so much stuff so everyone can see and play with you. I love our family.

He is so cute! I can't believe he's already saying mama. I'm sure you're loving that!

The cheapest lanterns I found were on justartifacts.com. They were only $1.50 each!
