Holiday in the Park

I've always wanted to go to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. As a kid, I think I went once - maybe twice. But, now that we have kids of our own - especially Jacob being older - I wanted to go back! With Jacob being SO into Christmas, lights, etc...and the fact that he loves rides and being outside, I figured this would be perfect. My Mom was able to get some discounted tickets through her old company. When she went to buy tickets for us, they decided to get tickets for everyone else to come, too. Perfect family fun night!!!

Badi's parents graciously offered to watch Noah for us. We were SO thankful that we decided to do that. The night we were there, it dropped to about 40 as soon as the sun went down. It would have been so miserable for poor Noah. We saw a few other families there with small kids in strollers and it just looked awful. So anyway, on to some fun pictures of our day!!

Jacob loved this ride the most. He got to "drive" a truck! :)

On the ferris wheel!! :)

They even had sledding!!! This was Jacob going down with Greg's girlfriend, Jenae!

Jacob was slightly terrified the first time he went down the hill with me, haha.

Driving the old timer cars. Jacob drove his Pops. :)

Then, we rode the bouncing cowboy boots. Jacob LOVED this one, too!!

About to ride the Looney Tunes boat. This one scared Jacob a little bit. Oops!

The mini mine train ride. This went a lot faster than I remembered and Jacob did way better than I thought he would! :)

On to one of the best parts of the night. You could buy unlimited hot chocolate for $6.99. I'm not even kidding when I say we filled this and drank it at least 23 times that night. Jacob loved all the whipped cream and sprinkle toppings! :)

It started to get SOOOO cold, so a few of our group had to leave early....Jacob included. Here he was with Jenae before leaving. :)

They had a sleigh for you to take pictures on!

The whole park was decorated SO pretty with lights and Christmas decorations.

Getting our picture taken with Sylvester. Right before we took this...he dunked his dirty nose in my fresh cup of hot chocolate and covered his face in whipped cream. I was so annoyed. I went and asked for a new cup. See Sylvester embarrassed and saying "sorry" in the picture? :)

Picture with Daffy Duck who made Jenny and I feel like giants. Ha.

We had such a fun night! I think we'll make this a tradition and definitely go back again next year!! :)

We loved Holiday in the Park too. It was so much fun! Did you try the Raspberry hot chocolate? That was my favorite!
