I can still remember running into your room when Mom and Dad would put you down for a nap and I would make a loud noise, or bump into your crib, or something to wake you up. As soon as my mission was accomplished, I would run out of the room and tell Mom that I thought I heard you waking up and I would go ahead and go pick you up. Poor girl. You never got any good naps. No wonder you love them so much nowadays, I never let you sleep before! :)
I loved when you got older and we could watch Disney movies together and I could play with your hair and dress you. I loved teaching you things and playing games. We had so much fun growing up!
I remember when I got married and you were my maid of honor. You were only 14 at our wedding and everyone thought you were at least 18. You have always appeared older than you are because of your maturity level. You're such a great help to us with Jacob and Noah. When Jacob got out of the NICU and a few months later it was time for me to go back to work - I wasn't quite ready to put him in daycare. You were so selfless in basically giving up your summer to come to our house and watch him every day. You're the best AJ! You take such great care of both of them, they love you so much and Badi and I are so grateful for all that you've done for us. You're going to make an amazing Mom one day! :)
You are always so willing to help us out. You are always offering to change Noah (unless it's a poopy, haha). You always want to feed him. You were such a lifesaver on vacation this summer. You were the best travel buddy and biggest helper to us with the boys. :)
You always do so many sweet and thoughtful things for us. You make us the sweetest presents - banners for our birthdays, t-shirts for when both boys were born, whale shirts for both boys, you're always helping me cook/bake and run errands. We can't thank you enough. I love you so very much and am so proud of the person you've become. You're already a sophmore at UT Austin, preparing for medical school and you're doing so well. I know whatever you end up doing, you'll be extremely successful.
Happy 20th Birthday, Jen!!! :)
