This year, Jacob was his favorite thing ever - Lightning McQueen from the Cars movie. Noah used Jacob's old costume from 2 years ago and was Batman. Before we left the house, we wanted to take a few family pictures before it got dark. I was soooo excited and surprised that somehow we were able to take a picture with everyone looking at the camera...and smiling! Love this one. :)
This was Jacob dressed as Batman in the same costume 2 years ago. :)
We went around our neighborhood with some of our neighbors. There are two boys down our street who are about Jacob's age and we went with them and their families. Thankfully, my Mom was also able to go out with us. We took a lot of pictures and brought our video camera, so it helped having my Mom to help us push Noah while we took pictures, video and helped Jacob run from door to door. It was so cute, after each house he and his two friends Fabian and Miles would yell out to us "Mom...we need to go to MOOOOOORE houses for MOOOOORE candy!" I loved seeing Jacob so excited and having so much fun!
Here was Noah's date....Sophia. :)
Sleepy Batman.
We stayed out trick-or-treating a lot longer than we thought. By the time we got home, there was no one left trick-or-treating at our end of the neighborhood!! Ha. So, all of the bags of candy that we had bought to pass out when we got home...had to stay in our house. Lovely for me who has been trying to lose weight, ha. We would have returned it, but, Badi had opened all the bags to prepare our big bowl of candy to pass out. Oh well. Along with the stuff we had planned to pass out...Jacob totally scored in the candy department. He didn't know what to do with all of it. :)
But, it's worked out. We keep his pumpkin on the kitchen counter and have been letting him pick out a piece to eat every time he uses the potty. Not too shabby. :) We had such a great Halloween. Can't wait until next year when Noah will be running around with Jacob and the boys, too! :)
