Noah is 3 months old!

Noah, you are 3 months old! Actually, you were 3 months last Friday...I'm just a little late in posting. :)

You are such a big boy!! You now weigh 19 lbs!!! (above 100%) and 26 inches long (95% tile). Everyone is so surprised to hear that you are only 3 months old. You definitely look much older. As a point of reference, at 3 months your big brother was only 11.5 lbs and 23.5 inches. :)

- You're wearing size 3 diapers! You could wear 2s, but, we put you in 3 to avoid your messy poopy diapers exploding everywhere, ha.
- You're wearing mostly 3 month or 3-6 months clothes.
- You are so happy!!
- You sleep really well. I want to have it down that you only sleep on your stomach. If I try to lay you down on your back, you are up in seconds. You also don't use a swaddle at all, complete opposite of Jacob!
- You usually go to sleep around 10pm and sleep until 7 or 7:30am. During the day you take at least 1 two hour nap and several cat naps. You love your sleep!
- Because of all the sleep on your tummy, your head/neck have gotten really strong, just like your grip! You love to hold onto our fingers, a toy, washcloth, etc.
- You are still very gassy! When you burp, the whole neighborhood hears it. When you poop, it's pretty much a guarantee that you (and sometimes Mommy!) need a new outfit because it's a mega blowout! :)
- You LOVE the water. We give a you a bath most every night and you love splashing in the water.

- This past month you took your first trip on an airplane. We flew to Virginia to visit all of Mommy's family, then drove down to North Carolina to spend a week at the beach. You did so well on the plane!

- You always love being outside. But, you especially loved being outside at the beach. Your Daddy liked sitting and relaxing with you, watching the ocean. :)

You LOVE to be around people and be in the middle of everything. Your absolute favorite way to be held is like this...facing everyone so you don't miss out on anything. (just like your big brother, again!)

You got to meet both of your great-grandparents on Mommy's side this trip. Here's a pic of Mommy's Granny. She was so excited to meet you!

You went swimming for the first time while we were at the beach. You LOVED it. Of course, since you love water so much. Actually, after about 15 minutes - you fell asleep on Mommy. Guess it was pretty relaxing for you.

You are still such a happy boy! You are always smiling and this month you started "talking" to us. When we talk to you, you talk back like to have conversations with us. So sweet.

You got to see your 2nd cousin, Martin, a few times this month. Martin was born just 5 hours after you!

Your big brother just thinks the world of you. He is always wanting to be near you, laying on you, kissing you, holding you, anything. You are sooooo loved, sweet boy!

You love your play mat. We have this one that you like to grab the animals on and we have one that makes noises and plays music. You just love to stare at the lights.

Cool guy in AJ's shades!

Big brother helping you drink your milk.

Lastly, here's your monthly picture! Here you are at 2 months:

Here's the 3 month shot! Such a big boy sitting up!! :)

For comparison, here was Jacob's 3 month picture (top) and Noah underneath.

We love you so much, sweet boy! You've added so much to our already lovely family. Can't imagine you not being with us. Happy 3 months! :)

Noah continues to amaze all of us. We can't wait to see what the future brings and I know that Jacob can't wait until Noah is old enough to REALLY play with him...can't be much longer now!
