....like a big pizza pie, that's amore!
I'm really enjoying my time at home with both boys right now. But, it's also tough at times to constantly think of new things to keep a very active 2 year old entertained. With it already getting to be over 100 every day, I don't want to be outside as much. Poor Jacob. It's just too hard to get outside with him while I have Noah, too. Thankfully, Jacob has been great and understands it's really hot.
I was getting ready to make lunch the other day and usually struggle if Noah is awake. I'm constantly running back and forth from the kitchen to the living room to make sure Jacob is careful with Noah. So, I thought this time I would have Jacob help me make lunch. It would help him to stay where I can see him and it would be a fun activity for both of us. So, I got all all of the ingredients and Jacob pulled a chair up to help out.
Adding lots and lots of cheese!
Jacob LOVED doing this! He was so excited to finish it and place it in the oven. Well, I put it in the oven because it was hot. But, I put the timer on and told him when it beeped that his pizza would be ready.
When the timer went off, Jacob RAN over to the oven. It was so cute. I made sure to make a really big deal out of telling him what a great job he did and how he made it all by himself. He was so proud.
It was such a fun activity. Can't wait to think of more things that we can make together. My little chef is anxious, too!! ;)
