Lately

Lately, things have been pretty consistent in our house. I consistently change about 18 diapers a day between both boys. All day long, Jacob likes to help with his brother. He loves to bring me diapers, throw away Noah's, give him his paci, help me pick out his outfit for the day, help me pat his back to burp him, etc. Also, we can always count on me watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I think I've memorized every episode ever aired on the Disney Channel. But, thankfully, Jacob doesn't mind watching them over and over. I'm glad we have something he really enjoys and loves.

We spend hours reading books, playing basketball in the living room, playing with cars, trucks and trains. We like to color and draw shapes on paper. Go over our ABCs and numbers. 

I feel like I'm consistently feeding the appetites of two VERY hungry boys at home. Jacob loves to snack during the day and during meals, he eats plenty! Noah must be trying to keep up with his big brother. That, or he hit another growth spurt this week. We have, thankfully, gotten him into a pretty good routine of sorts. The last few days, between 11pm and 6/6:30am he only wakes up once. ONCE! That's so awesome. I'm so thankful to be getting a few extra hours of sleep than normal. But, leading up to when I go to sleep at 11ish, he goes on a feeding FRENZY! Usually he eats like 3 or 4 times within about 3 hours. It's nuts! But, I'm so glad he's doing so well and is a healthy boy. I can't imagine what our grocery bill will be like when these boys get bigger!! :)

Noah continues to be such a great baby! He's very laid back and easygoing. Jacob continues to amaze me with what a smart, loving, funny and kindhearted boy he is. I love being at home with both boys right now. Having Noah in the house now is making me realize how big Jacob is. How fast time goes and how much I really need to soak in every second of these two because before I know it...they'll both be in school and not wanting to snuggle with their Mommy, give me kisses or hugs.

I love my life right now. Things are absolutely hectic and crazy...but, I wouldn't change one single thing.  :)
