T minus 25 days!

The countdown is officially winding down! Baby Noah will be here in less than 25 days. That's absolutely crazy to me. The last few weekends we've spent time finishing up the final touches on Noah's room. It took a little longer than we wanted to get all that organized b/c we didn't want to buy a new crib and nursery furniture for Noah. So, we finally transitioned Jacob to a big boy bed and on Saturday we finally found some furniture we liked for him. He needed a new dresser and nightstand so we could bring all of that stuff into Noah's room.

On top of all that, it's been getting down the baby swing, Boppy, clothes etc that Jacob used and washing everything for Noah to use. Whew. We're also preparing Noah's setup in our bedroom where he'll be staying in the pack 'n play for the first 2 or so months. It's been pretty exhausting, thankfully, Badi has been a TREMENDOUS help!

He says he waited until later to do all of this because he knew Noah would wait until his room was 100% done before he tried to make his arrival. So far, that's been the case. :) I still can't believe that I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant and we haven't had any big issues this time. I'm so, so, so thankful!

That being said, I'm also trying to get our freezer ready with some meals for when we get home from the hospital. Any of you lovely friends have good recipes to share that freeze well? I have plenty of great recipes, just have no idea if any of them freeze well and if they're any good when thawed and re-heated. So, any help with that would be very much appreciated!

Lastly, that pregnancy countdown on the top right corner of this page is so silly. That pregnant girl definitely doesn't look like she's almost 36 weeks pregnant! She just looks like she had a big lunch!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Debbie, I am so thankful that you have had a complication free pregnancy. I am praying that Noah comes safely into this world and that you get all go home together this time.

Haha! You're right. The belly should grow in the picture. :)

My favorite freezer meals are those that you freeze uncooked and then cook the day you eat like lasagna or casseroles. I'll be watching for any great suggestions as it'll be time for me to make freezer meals soon!
