I'm 34 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It might not seem like that big of a deal to a lot of people, but, for anyone who knew what I went through when I was pregnant with Jacob...it's a huge milestone! At this point in my 1st pregnancy, I had already been on bedrest in the hospital with severe pre-eclampsia for 3 weeks. I had already been told numerous times that Jacob would have to be in the NICU, that nurses were amazed that I hadn't given birth yet with how high my BP readings were when I first got put on bedrest, I had basically been secluded from everyone for weeks. I couldn't really have visitors or take phonecalls in the hospital because my blood pressure would sky rocket. It was all pretty terrifying and pretty much the big elephant in the back of my mind ever since I was pregnant with #2.
Every day of this pregnancy, especially the last 8 or so weeks, I've been replaying everything that happened the first time around. I was especially terrified when my Doctor decided to give me the two steroid shots (that I got with Jacob at 31 weeks) to develop Noah's lungs...at 28 weeks. I thought for sure everything was going right back to what happened the first time. I thought for sure we were in for another round of bedrest, early delivery and NICU.
After asking for prayers, prayers and more prayers.....here we are today! I've never been so happy to see the #34. My next Drs appointment is Friday morning for my weekly BP check. I can't tell you how ecstatic I am. Noah's healthy and so far (fingers remain crossed), things are looking great. Thank you to everyone for all of your good thoughts and prayers for us. They help so much!
We had some family pictures taken a few weeks ago. I'll do a separate post with some of my favorites from the shoot. But, for now, I'll end this post with one of the pictures that I love so much.
How timely that at 34 weeks with #2, I'm healthy...baby Noah is healthy and my sweet baby Jacob who was born right at 34 weeks and spent 3 weeks in the NICU....is healthier than ever and so excited to meet his baby brother.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. God is so incredibly good! :)

I'm so glad you and Noah are doing so well. I love you guys so much and I can't wait to come home and see you guys again. Tell Jacob to give Noah a kiss for me :). Such a cute picture!!!
Much Love, the best ASA in the world :) haha
I'm so happy for you! I know it's hard to stay calm when you think back to your previous experience. But hang in there & have positive thoughts.
Great news!!! And LOVE the pic! :)
Yaaay! That is so awesome! And by the way, whaaa? You're 34 weeks already? Geez! Time sure does fly. I'm only 6 weeks behind ya! So crazy to imagine a family of 4 just a few weeks away (for you! and a few plus 6 for me). Heehee!
Yay! That really IS a milestone! Congrats! I am so excited for you!
We can't thank everyone enough for all the Prayers. Honey, you are so beautiful, strong, determined and loving. You are a great mother to Jacob and Noah. I love laying on the couch in the evenings with my wife and 2 boys. It's so fun watching you progress to a new stage of pregancy. Watching Noah move around in your stomach is unreal. I swear he must be doing barrel roles in there. I can't express how greatful to God I am for making our lives so special.
yay for milestones... and the picture of jacob kissing your belly is pretty much the sweetest picture EVER. very cute! :)
