Family Pictures - March 2011

A few weeks ago, one of our friends took family pictures of us. I had so badly wanted to get some family pictures done since the last one of the 3 of us was taken when Jacob was about 6 months old! Also, I never got maternity pictures taken when I was pregnant with Jacob, so I wanted to get a few of those done this time around in case we don't have any more kids.

I was really hesitant to book anything with anyone b/c I was so nervous about being put on bedrest and I didn't want to do them too early and not look as pregnant. Funny how things work out when you want/need them to. :) Some very sweet family friends of ours moved to Georgia several years ago. Their eldest has recently taken a really strong interest in photography and she's quickly become really great at what she does! She recently got accepted into an awesome photography program in Hawaii and will be leaving in a few weeks. Before heading to HI, she came back to Texas for a quick visit to see some friends and family that are still in the DFW area. To help raise money for her trip to HI, she booked a few photography sessions....we were one of them. It worked out so well.

So, we met Grace at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. We had gorgeous weather that day! It was pretty difficult to get Jacob to look at the camera, smile and pay attention all at the same time. But, we still got a few pretty good ones that I'll be putting up in our house. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Oh yeah, and don't worry. We cut Jacob's CRAZY hair a few days after (of course...ha) these pictures were taken. Oh well. :)
